Founded in 1985 by Peter Rich, Jeroboams began in retail, offering an extensive and exciting selection of fine wines and Champagnes complemented by a unique selection of specialist cheeses and charcuterie. Jeroboams now proudly operates five specialist wine shops plus its flagship food and wine outlet, as well as the Mr Christian’s delicatessen, all based in London’s central boroughs.

Olivogelo opened in 2013 as part of Mauro Sanna’s small Sardinian ‘empire’ in Belgravia and has become a ‘must’ for ice cream lovers. The gelateria serves delicious homemade ice creams, frozen yoghurts and sorbets produced using traditional ingredients and many of them with a strong Sardinian influence. Along with more familiar flavours there are many more particular to Sardinia such as saffron and Sardinian bitter honey. Highly popular is the blueberry frozen yoghurt. All are served in cones or tubs to be eaten in or taken away and there are large freezer tubs available. Olivogelo is now linked with Deliveroo so anyone living within 1.5 miles of Elizabeth Street can order home deliveries.

The world-famous Poilâne bakery founded in 1932 on the fashionable rue du Cherche-Midi in Paris opened its first London shop on 46 Elizabeth Street, SW1. The London bakery and shop are a replica of its French counterpart. Since 2000 Londoners can enjoy the most celebrated old-style, handmade, thick-crusted, sourdough bread, made exclusively with wheat flour, ground by stone milling and leaven. The bread is freshly baked every day on the premises in wood-heated ovens, along with countless other delicacies which include: rye bread, nut bread, rye and raisin bread, brioches, croissants, pains au chocolat, apple tart, butter cookies, etc.
